People Who Can’t Self-Censor: Bashing the Boss

A big part of my gripe with Web anonymity is the incredible mean and senseless things people say when they think they can’t be held accountable. Funny thing is, in serious situations, it’s pretty easy to penetrate aliases.

But back to the mean and senseless stuff. Recently over in a LinkedIn group, a resume service posted some of the worst comments people made in the public Twitter feed. Check it out live.

  1. Hi there,

I followed your link at Richard Reeve’s blog. Curious about your name, Adriel. My son, 19 and now a sophomore in college, is named Adriel. I wonder what’s your parent’s story for choosing that name for you. My son had some qualms in MS because of some teasing at the unusual name and not being just another “Jimmy”… 🙂 We explained to him that that was exactly the point and having the added bonus of being meaningful.

Noticed your picture above. My son is currently taking a winter session in Beijing. He majors in languages.

    Best,

    Luis Andrade
